This January 2013 newsletter describes the work that the network has been doing with the Stepping Stones approach throughout communities of Malawi and details the great impact it has had on reducing gender based violence and improving communication between couples. It includes testimonies and photos from the participants of Stepping Stones workshops, including this quote from the group village headman, Ndenguma from the Traditional Authority Malemia in Nsanje:
“We have noted a decrease in cases of Gender Based Violence brought before our traditional courts and this has been attributed to lessons under Stepping Stones.” p.15
