Parcours en Burundi et Republique Democratique du Congo

Parcours a été adapté pour être utilisé au Burundi et en RDC.

pnudLe PNUD en République démocratique du Congo a implenté L’approche “Parcours” en territoire de Walungu en province du Sud-Kivu. L’approche “Parcours” visant le renforcement de la prévention du VIH à travers la sensibilisation des populations pour le changement des comportements à risque et qui  s’est focalisé sur les questions d’inégalités de genre. Ce travail est réalisé grâce à l’appui de George Biock, Chargée de programme VIH et Erick Ngoie, Associé au programme VIH, PNUD RDC.

abbbbStepping Stones has been adapted for use both in Burundi and in DRC.

The UNDP in DRC implemented Stepping Stones in the community of Walangu, DRC. The project was intended to strengthen HIV prevention through increased public awareness of risk behaviours and a central focus on tackling issues of gender inequality and stigma, on a community level.
Click here to read a translation of the executive summary of an independent impact evaluation of the Stepping Stones programme from September 2013. The results obtained show progress in terms of knowledge, attitudes and behavioural practices of the target groups in the context of HIV/AIDS, knowledge of gender-based violence and the rights of women. This work was realised with the support of George Biock, Head of HIV and Erick Ngoie program associate HIV program, UNDP DRC.
