UNFPA use of Stepping Stones as a case study on engagement of men and boys
In 2010, The United Nations Population fund (UNFPA) produced a global toolkit to support engagement of men and boys in promoting gender equality and health. Stepping Stones was used as a “gender transformative” case study in the introduction.
Specific topics included:
- Sexual and reproductive health
- Maternal, newborn and child health
- Fatherhood
- HIV and AIDS prevention
- Care and support
- Prevention of gender-based violence.
